You get an iPhone 14 PRO max with the intention of using Cinematic mode to allow you to rack focus in post production within FCPX 10.6.4 and you get an error message “The Cinematic effect can’t be enabled”.
You can produce the effect within the iPhone as shown below but I would prefer to be able to have control via FCPX.
Here is a video produced by Editors Keys showing you how Cinematic mode works with the iPhone 13 but I tried this with my 14 and still no joy and that’s with the latest IOS update 16.1
It does work for me and I’m on MacOS Ventura Beta, not sure if that makes a difference?
