Filmic style wedding footage is few and far between though Joe Simon is a class act, my thanks to Tom Guilmette for tweeting this.

Excellent. I wish my camera had a decent AF. No way I could do any of what is shown in the video.
HDW : I was impressed when I saw Dan Chung demonstrating this FW upgrade, its a pity you need to send your C100 to Canon to get the UG.
Well, wasn’t it nice to see a wedding film being made without the annoying photographer getting in the way/being the big “I AM” or just generally being a pain….. or was I just unlucky when I used to film weddings….. AND (you know there’s always an AND) how lucky was he to film where he liked in the church as opposed to “Stand there!!”… AND (see!) it was mostly in the worst, back bending, peeping round a pew/column/or some bl—y object (if you were lucky), or a mile away if not ….anyway, nice little film…. Not Bitter from Bromborough.
HDW : We all suffered from so called “professional” photographers and church officers better known as Little Hitlar’s.
Even with a fantastic autofocus system, one thing shooting like that will never get you is the truth or reality of the day. Unless you master the art of NOT choreographing the wedding couple, you will never reach all the way to the heart of any moment, only the surface, which, don’t get me wrong, can be beautiful. But when it’s real, there’s nothing like it.
