I thought is was just me, you open the app, on page one I adjust the noise cancellation to WEAK, scroll down to More Settings.

In More Settings choose Auto Gain, Voice Focus and 32bit.

Come out of the app and when you go back into the app your More settings and Noise cancellation have gone back to default mode.

At first I decided it was me at fault but when I contacted Insta via the App it became clear that the problem was their lack of information.

I do hope this is AI giving me bad info as it seems appalling that you can indeed change settings in the app and think all is hunky dory, go out on a shoot to come back with less than good sound, in my case sound at a lower volume than I was expecting.

My appeal to Insta is to have a SAVE button on the More Settings page.

Its obvious to me that you want to adjust your settings back at base and check all is working fine before a shoot…Not have to adjust all your settings at the shoot itself !
