HDW : This looks the business a cracking shoulder mount camcorder that in spec alone will kick the Sony PMW-500 in the pants, this is the first broadcast camcorder with 1080 50p and micro P2…fantastic.
I have a HPX370 that I love, but when I look at this one I can’t stop drooling. Specs are awesome.
Crackin
Absolutely amazing…
But, I have an AG-AC-160A which, for me, has been fantastic, so I will stick with this.
AJ 2/3″ series cams coupled w/ quality HD lenses are amazing. It puts your production values to the next level – more toward real network grade vs local. Color, contrast, and overall picture quality is far superior to anything below it (AG series). I already owned the AJ-HPX3100 for several years and it’s a very high quality cam. I prefer the upcoming Varicam 3 over this. If you don’t need 120 fps Varicam 3, then this may be a good option.
