Pro video blog…Produced by Philip Johnston DoP/Editor

Nano Banana is such a weird name, its bet someone input “give me the name of a new AI graphics model in chat GPT”. Above was me far right standing beside Wallace and Gromit, nano seems to have aged Wallace.

It’s a dream of a program for designers and model makers and those who like speculating on YouTube about new kit. I asked nano to produce an Osmo Pocket 5 with a two inch sensor.

My own mother used to be a ballet dancer and I asked nano to convert the still into a video to produce a 10s 16:9 video at 720p and this is what it produced.

Its a fantastic tool and with the desktop version you get the option to purchase credits only allowing me to experiment and add content to my family’s past like my uncle Winston who used to work in Accrington’s Nori brick factory so Nano Banana with his face uploaded from that period placed him in a brick factory during the 1950s.

Nano Banana is a lot more accurate and far quicker than most AI art tools on the market. I don’t mind paying credits for the use of this tool rather than a monthly subscription and a lot less credits.

Having been working in the video business since 1988 I have amassed a great amount of knowledge of both the kit and production values over the last 30 years.
