This 72 LED light is 22cm long by 6cm wide by 3cm depth almost the same size as a £300 camera top light ! You see where I am coming from…as soon as you change it’s purpose ie. from a hand light costing £10 to a camera light… you now pay £300.
OK hands up this is far from a usable professional camera light though you could use it for highlighting a foreground subject in 5200K (daylight).
Are you seeking budget DIY LED Panels for studio? 36 1 watt lamps with removable spot lens, on light alloy base plate. Output 3,000 lumens, 5200K
I made a simple 3 ply backing, 11×11 in with 2 in angle alloy edge for protection. Drill 3/8 mounting hole in edge strip. Use pop rivets to tie together
I have 8 of these panels in use. For diffusion, drop white plastic shopping bag over lamp head as it’s cold light, no problems.

Thanks Ron but I have 2 LED 500W and a 1KW LED plus a Sony camera top light. This was only to demonstrate the huge price hike between a 75 LED domestic hand light which looks very like some LED top lights being sold and the £300 upwards camera top lights.
