  1. Gosh.

JVC are really pushing the envelope for ENG cams.
Nice resolution and bandwidth selections, background transfers, ftp over ssl and wifi remote control.

I wish I could afford the 650 but at the same time I’m quite happy with my HM150E. Love it’s size, weight and handling.
If only it had histogram and newer full raster sensors. 🙂

  2. Kris and what about the 600 many of us dont really need all the futures on the 650 bu would like to see something fot the 600…

  3. Hi Leon

The 600 will have a Version 2.0 as well with additional features.

    Including:
    Expanded Focus
    – 1.5times expansion on both LCD and VF
Knee Point setting :2.5% step increments
    (85%-100%)
    • White peak :103% added
    • Viewfinder indication when outside good
range (up to F8) Warning to use ND filter (Can turn this on or off)
    • Rec trigger on Front
    – Assignable: REC/White
    Balance/Disable (no function)
This is the record button at the front of the camera by the lens
    . Additional AVCHD modes 1440 x 1080 @ 9 or 5 Mbps

  4. maybe Version 2.0 firmware for HM600 include audio settings for int microphone. At this moment can not set 1 chanel auto and 1 chanel manual using int mic.

  5. “Additional AVCHD modes”… Do you mean as in AVCHD 2.0 50/60P? C’mon Kris, spill the beans… All I need is that and a USA instant or mail-in rebate to convert over from Panasonics. 🙂
