Having been working in the video business since 1988 I have amassed a great amount of knowledge of both the kit and production values over the last 30 years.

haha good work! I wish I knew all this before downloading!
Man, you are always positive about things you cant sell in your shop haha.
Ha, Ha, now that made me laugh…WHAT SHOP !
Too bad these statements are’nt fully correct. I have not received FCP X yet, but according to the Apple site, it has tape capture, audio tools, and templates to author dvds. Imovie is built on the same code platform, FCP 7 isn’t, so compatibility isn’t realistically to be expected. I really love the idea of FCP X because non-progressive editors will fight it, and be left behind, enabling me to get more business. They can go to Adobe or Avid, but I’ll stick with Apple’s track record. FCP X is a version 1.0 release with new paradigms which can’t be expected to be 100% polished, but a progressive path to move forward with, FCP 7 will also remain on my machine as I continue.
unfortunately the truth 🙁
apple was so cool but since they coining money with their iPads and iPhones Apple didn’t care about Macs and Software. Lion is a copy of iOS.
I definitely do not upgrade!
It takes a week of hard study and hungry birds, but if you can bear some issues and missing features of this 1.0 release, you soon fall in love with it.
